How to prepare homemade almond milk:
Measure a cup of almonds and put them in a container, pour cold water on them and let them soak for 6 hours (or overnight).
Then discard the soaking water and wash the almonds.
Add the soaked almonds, 3 cups of water, dates, vanilla and salt to the blender. Mix very well for at least one minute.
Using a cotton cloth bag or fine strainer, strain the almond milk, press the bag until the last drop of milk comes out and a dry almond residue remains.
Transfer the strained milk to a container or milk bottle and keep it in the refrigerator. Shake before use.
Do not throw away the almond pulp because you can use it to prepare all kinds of sweets and cookies.
